I hosted a cookie swap with my neighbors the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It was my third cookie swap in this neighborhood. Each year the swap gets bigger and more fun!
We signed up on Facebook and I kept checking in with the groups to see what each of us planned to make and to make sure all were still committed. These days it seems that folks say yes very quickly but don't always follow through. I also posted cookies from Pinterest as motivation!
On the day of the exchange, I cleaned the house and made eggnog and then waited for folks to come over with their cookies. We chatted for a while, talked about our cookies and I gave each a dip mix ornament for coming. We had a lovely time!
