In comes Vera, a journalist who finds herself longing to settle down in the small Connecticut town where she grew up. Derek's family owns a hardware store in Addison, and he begins doing repairs on Vera’s home. Derek struggles his painful loss. With most of the story taking place in the weeks leading up to Christmas, this is a warm and fuzzy story that’s full of inviting holiday details.
