So to start my day I am trying out a possible Christmas morning breakfast casserole. I made this for my DAR ladies group and it was so successful that I am thinking of doing it for my family. I called it my Easter Morning Breakfast Casserole and it is full of yummy goodness like blueberries, croissants and a vanilla custard. That, along with Christmas Mimosas and Oven Fried Candied Bacon will be our breakfast treat.

The website is so easy to use! Plus, you can see what your cards will look like before you buy and, there are a lot of editing options. Super neat site. |
I'll work on these two projects until lunch, where I plan to try a couple of appetizers that I want to serve on Christmas Eve. Our Christmas Eve is always games and apps and cocktails, getting ready for Santa to come! The appetizers I am trying are these Cheesy Meatball Bites and this Baked Brie with Wine Soaked Blackberries. Yum!
After lunch I plan to relax with a Christmas movie and a cup of hot cocoa. I can drink hot chocolate anytime of the year, and I always have a stash ready for rainy days. This year I plan to put roasted marshmallows on top, as a nod to summer.
I hope your CIJ is fantastic! I'd love to hear about your plans in the comments!
Sounds like you have a great day planned! I am full-on in the Christmas planning phase. I've accomplished quite a bit of shopping, and will be starting to make some crafts when the grandkids go back to school next week. I'm stitching on a Christmas stocking for my brand new great niece and still need to stitch two stockings for my newest granddaughter. I'm watching movies I recorded from the Hallmark Channel's Christmas in July week. They help to make me feel cooler in the 110+ temps we're having! Enjoy your day...
ReplyDeleteVicki, that is awesome! I saw two great movies from the Feeln channel. Fantastic day!
DeleteHi Terri, I'm thinking maybe reading about CIJ will make me feel cooler since it is so hot here! :)
ReplyDeleteI did a swap with you last year, remember? Enjoy making all your Christmas goodies!
I do remember! I can't remember who hosted it, so if you happen to run across it, think of me!
