My family and I are headed to Cabo San Lucas for Christmas. I made the decision not to do a lot of holiday decorating and concentrate on my trip. All of my cherished items will be used, but for the most part, we will simplify by having one tree in our living room and simple touches in most rooms.

How wonderful that you're going to spend Christmas in Cabo! This sounds amazing. I'm all about simplicity and removing needless pressure from our lives. You're right, the added stress doesn't do us any good. These are great ideas! I especially like the 20-minute holiday wreath.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so cute! I am so excited to decorate for Christmas this year. It is always so fun! We decorate as soon as Thanksgiving is over.
ReplyDeleteWe live in a small space so simple decor is for me. I cannot wait to get my Christmas decorations out and up!
ReplyDeleteThese are all really beautiful ideas. I love Christmas and always add to my collection of decor every year.
ReplyDeleteLove these simple ideas. I am still not over Halloween yet but I'm sure I will need to be shortly. Lol.
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing list of easy DIY decorations. I love creating a few new décor pieces each year, and I will have to narrow it down to which ones I am going to make!
ReplyDeleteWe're so used to Christmas being grand that we forget that sometimes simplicity is key. I think these are all awesome ideas!!!
ReplyDeleteI love these ideas. I think it's good to go for simple this year. What's important is being with family. Thanks for all the links.
ReplyDeleteLast year all we had is a tree nothing else. This year I bought stockings and lights. I also am planning to get bobbles for the tree. I think each year I'll add to it until I get a collection. Nothing wrong with simple Christmases. Starting from nothing and building it is fun though.
ReplyDeleteI love them all. I am SO excited to be coming up to the time we can decorate for Christmas and getting all my goodies out and up! Christmas is my all time favourite time of year! - Jeanine
ReplyDeleteI love these and it's perfect for me because I am hosting Christmas this year! I will need to check these out
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess being in Cobo will help eliminate any holiday stress you may be feeling. ;) Enjoy it! Thanks for the simplicity tips for those of us not leaving the country.
ReplyDeleteYay for your Cabo vacay! We always go away for Christmas as well because a few years ago I realized that the stress was simply not worth it. That time of the year should be about family and relaxation. Enjoy to the fullest.

I've been looking for some easy Christmas decorations. I just don't have the time to decorate my home the way I would like to.
ReplyDeleteExcellent ideas! I'm so excited for this season to kick off. We moved into a new home this year and I have so many ideas for decorating.
ReplyDeleteI really like decorating with my favorite ornaments or treasured family heirlooms. As much as I love Christmas, I do feel like it has gotten way too commercial. It's become more about buying more and more decor instead of appreciating and treasuring what we have.
