I don't have a tutorial for you today, just a walk around my porch and a little about my house. My husband and I built our house in 2013 after downsizing and moving a city that had been our home for 20 years. It was a hard thing to do but I was ready for the change.
The house is built in the Craftsman style, with a small wrap around porch. We are situated where we can see the lake from our porch and it is our favorite spot in the mornings.
I did the greens myself this year! |
This darling Santa has been in my family for 20 years. |
We love this spot for morning coffee. |
Our yellow door is a neighborhood icon. |
Be sure to visit our fellow 12 Days of Christmas Bloggers below for even more creative ideas this holiday season!
We are also porch sitting coffee drinkers in the morning. It's such a pleasant way to begin the day. Your Christmas porch is so warm festive and welcoming. Love that you have memories with the Santa and that 'hello'on your door is so awesome.
ReplyDeleteI think that is absolutely gorgeous. All the decorations are so festive and welcoming! I love this space.
ReplyDeleteI love your porch! That Santa is just awesome. I love how welcoming everything is. The greenery is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love it when people decorate their doors. I am just too busy to do it myself! It does look so festive!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely porch. I hope to build a porch this summer so I can decorate it for the holidays in the coming years.
ReplyDeleteI think that decorating your Porch in the festive spirit of Christmas is such a good idea! I love the Santa especially and it is so cute that it has been in your family for 20 years x
ReplyDeleteI love it! It's not overly done, everything just goes so well together and it looks really pretty!
ReplyDeleteLook how gorgeous your front stoop is decorated! I have done nothing, in fact, my pumpkins are still on my stoop! We had 60 degree weather up until last week and I didn't want to toss them yet -
ReplyDeleteI love your porch! So festive and welcoming! Mine is boring...just a Christmas wreath is all. Oh well. Maybe it's not to late to make mine as festive. Thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteYour porch looks fabulous. I love the lantern within the Greens, and the Santa is fantastic. I failed and didn't get my porch done or lights done this year. Maybe next year
ReplyDeleteI always love driving around the different neighborhoods during the holidays, admiring the decorations. I love your front porch decorations! So cheerful and festive!
ReplyDeleteI haven't finished decorating our front porch! It's really awesome how you've decorated yours. I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a nice porch to decorate like this sadly. But, I love looking at the link up and seeing how everyone decorates so nicely!
ReplyDeleteYour wraparound porch with the view of the lake sounds wonderful! Love your Christmas decorations.
ReplyDeleteI love how festive your porch is! It's so cute! I need to actually do mine this year! I know we don't have that long until Christmas but I would love it!
ReplyDeleteI just love the Santa on your front porch. It's so unique and a definite eye catcher. It's always so much fun to see how others decorate their doors. We have a neighbor who decorates her mailbox for every holiday and I always get a kick out of seeing what she has it dressed up.
ReplyDeleteYour porch came out so cute! We haven't done our front porch yet, but plan on it this weekend. The back porch is where we spend most of out time though.
ReplyDeleteI am such a fan of back porch sitting and coffee drinking. My front porch is too small for anyone to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI love it! So festive and ready for the holidays. I love that it’s bit too cluttered and looks really good! Wish I had a back porch to do this to! - Jeanine
ReplyDeleteI love your decorations! I haven't decorated my porch much as I would love because of some neighborhood mischiefs.
ReplyDeleteI love your porch! I wish our front porch was big like this. I live in Quebec and we get quite a bit of snow. Adding anything more than Christmas lights would be a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteI love how well decorated your porch is! I wish I had a porch big enough to decorate so festively.
ReplyDeletewish we had a porch!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of your craftsman porch! We love craftsman style houses, but there aren't really any in my area. Your porch looks beautiful
