Hot Oyster Crackers with Cashews
1 cup oil (your favorite, I used avocado oil)
1 1oz package of dry ranch dressing mix
2 T red pepper flakes
1 bag oyster crackers
1 can of cashews, halves and pieces
1 bag plain croutons
In a large Ziplock® Brand Gallon Storage Bag, add all the ingredients together. Zip, and tumble bag around for about 15 minutes. Pour into a Ziplock® Brand Container (I love the holiday styles!) and snap the lid on.
With this snack and my favorite Diet A & W root beer, I am read to watch my new favorite Christmas movie, Switched for Christmas, a Hallmark Christmas movie original!
Storyline via Hallmark: Identical twins Kate and Chris Lockhart plot to be the other sister -- at Kate’s office and Chris’ school – and take on planning their sister’s Christmas events. One rule, though: no romance. Chris as Kate is making her mark in the office, but co-worker Greg Turner grows curious about her sudden style. Kate as Chris, warming to her sudden family life, is introduced to a wealthy donor to help out the festival. Her jaw drops when she realizes that Tom Kinder is a teenage crush she met at that very festival 20 years ago. Can the sisters pull off their big events? And what about no romance? Will their little game of deceit take two hearts with it – Greg’s and Tom’s?
I watched this Sunday night and it was adorable. I loved that the dog, Happy, is a rescued dog that Hallmark owns! From Rescue to Movie Star!! Candace Cameron Bure plays the twin sisters. She is adorable and I am happy to see her on tv again.

ReplyDeleteThis snack sounds perfect for munching on during holiday movies. I'll just have to give it a try. I can't say i've seen this Christmas movie yet but my PVR is full of Hallmark movies.
