It's Day 4 and we are sharing Kids Christmas Craft Ideas!

The craft I am sharing today has endless possibilities.  The Gingerbread Boy can be decorated over and over each day, making it one of the best crafts ever!

Decorate the Gingerbread Man!

Step 1.

Cut a large gingerbread boy from felt.  I found this one precut at Dollar Tree.  SOOOO easy!

Step 2.

Cut decorative pieces from scrap felt.  Zig Zags for the arms, circles for the eyes and nose, buttons, a hat, smiling mouth, whatever pieces you can create!

Step 3.

Hot glue magnets on the back of the gingerbread boy and let cool.  Attach to the refrigerator or other magnetic surfaces.

Step 4.

Put the pieces in a ziplock bag and place by the gingerbread boy.

How to use:

Read a Gingerbread Man story to your child. Here are some links to free, online gingerbread stories!

After the story, have your child decorate the gingerbread man.  Repeat this for several days.  Ask your child to tell you what the differences are between the different gingerbread man stories.  Ask what is the same.  Ask which is the favorite and why?  On the last day (you determine this!) make gingerbread cookies (try THIS recipe!)
