For the holidays I like to create and make different crafts for my family and friends. This month I am joining in on a group of talented bloggers while they share their Christmas crafts with you. You will love all the adorable ideas shared here!
Here are our hosts for this event. Be sure and check them out, because they do a lot of fun things on their blogs!
To make this simple but elegant craft you will need the following:
Mason jar
Ribbon scraps, at least 7" long
jute string
a variety of small Christmas decorations, like bells, pinecones, greenery
candles of choice that fit inside the mason jar
glue gun
Instructions:
1. Gather supplies. Wash the mason jar and dry thoroughly.
2. Measure the ribbon around the jar, cut to fit, add a dot of hot glue to the back of the ribbon and stick to the jar, then overlap the ribbon, and add another drop of hot glue to secure the ribbon to itself.
3. Glue on the ribbon. Glue on decorations.
4. Tie on the strings. Insert the candle inside the jar.
5. You are done!
Make a series of these in the same size or in graduated sizes and place them in clusters on your table for a festive look.
Be sure and check out these delightful crafts, too! There is such a wonderful variety here, something for everyone and at all crafting levels!
