One of my all-time favorite things to do at Christmas is to watch holiday movies with my husband. He is always a willing participant, even if it is something he'd rather be doing. I try to create a fun treat that is healthy, or at least, semi-healthy and we will cuddle up and watch together.
Here are my top three choices for the season's upcoming movies:
1. Love Hard
Love Hard is a rom-com about a woman who sets off across country to meet a man she's met online for Christmas. When she arrives, she finds she's been major leagued catfish and is furious. The imposter agrees to set her up with the real guy whose photos he was using...but he has to pretend to be his girlfriend first. Starring Nina Dobrev, Darren Barnett, Jimmy O. Yang and Harry Shum, Jr.
Release: November 5 on Netflix
2. A Boy Called Christmas
When I saw that this was made into a movie, I was thrilled! I have read this book when it was first out in 2016 and loved it. It's the story of Santa Claus when he went on an adventure as a young child. The movie stars Maggie Smith, Kristen Wiig, Henry Lawfull, and Sally Hawkins
Release: November 24 on Netflix
3. The Princess Switch 3
The third in a series, Vanessa Hudgens plays all three of her roles, which those of us who have watched all three will understand! There's romance, switched identities, and a mystery to solve!
Release: November 18 on Netflix
I might watch one of these. They do sound intriguing. I know I'll watch Elf and Home Alone! We have our favorites.
