Welcome to the 2022 version of Christmas in July! I am here to welcome you to my favorite holiday and the summertime edition! I love Christmas in July and wrote a small piece about it last year, here, for you to learn how it all got started. So how do I plan to celebrate this summer? I'm so glad you asked.
July 7- Week 1
I'll be sharing all things Hallmark today! My favorite movie schedule and favorite must-haves while watching said movies!
July 11- Week 2
I'll be sharing a cute and easy Christmas craft that you can start making now for Christmas gifts. These are so easy and can be made with heirlooms!
July 18- Week 3
Upcoming Christmas trends as seen on Amazon, my favorite go-to decorations, and the best Christmas lights on the market, plus my favorite holiday planners from Etsy.
July 25- Week 4
Holiday appetizers you will want to put on your trays this Christmas. Most of these can be made ahead of time to save you from cooking everything on party day.
🎄Looking forward to sharing posts with you this month!🎄
So for all things Hallmark, here are my most anticipated movies and my must-haves to go with them!
1. Christmas Sail
Starring Katee Sackhoff as Liz Darling, Liz is trying to get her mom's old boat in shape for a holiday boat parade. The inspiration? Liz's estranged father is about to lose his home, and the prize money from the parade will help save it. Given that dad has broken his arm to rescue a child who was about to be harmed by a falling Christmas tree, Liz and her daughter decide to spend Christmas with Grandpa. Enter Liz's BFF Luke (played by Patrick Sabongui,) who has turned into a handsome hunk while Liz has been away. Is this going to be a love interest (hey, it's a Hallmark movie, what do you think?) Why am I all excited about this one? I love the water, the Northeast, and a good boat parade.
2. My Grown-Up Christmas List
Starring Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry, share a special bond that grows between the two of them over five Christmases that they spend together and apart. Taylor is a journalist and Luke is in the military. I suspect it will make me cry.
3. Campfire Christmas
Romance is in the air for Peyton (played by Tori Anderson) when she and her parents decide to host a holiday reunion before selling their family-owned summer camp. I went to bible summer camps as a kid and they are some of my fondest memories. I know this one will touch my heart.
1. Kettle Korn from Wally's. This is new on the list, but since there is a new Wally's fairly close by, I am adding it to the list!
2. A darling Christmas mug. I saw this one at Wally's (not sponsored, but hey Wally's, I want to be!) last time I was there, but it is tin, and cannot be used in the microwave. I didn't buy it, but I do regret it. So here's a cute Hallmark mug instead.
3. Cute pajamas. Enough said? This was my go-to jammy top from last year:
Oh my!! I'm just not ready for Christmas yet. Its just so dang hot BUT great list of movies for sure.

ReplyDeleteI love this! I like that Christmas in July is a thing. I think it's great. I love to celebrate Christmas in July as well.
ReplyDeleteMy friend would get a kick out of those shirts because it's her husband who loves the Hallmark channel. She'd prefer murder documentaries!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...we are kindred spirits. My husband as teasing me a couple of weeks ago, about me listening to Christmas music! I just ordered stickers for my planner that say "Hallmark and Chill", "It's a Hallmark and Hot Cocoa Kind of Day", "It's a Hallmark Christmas Movies Kind of Day", and "Let's Bake Stuff Drink Hot Cocoa and Watch Hallmark Movies"!!!! My husband does NOT share my excitement, and would love the shirt.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely wonderful! I’m surely gonna add this movies in my list! Thanks for sharing this with us!

ReplyDeleteTime flies so fast! Recently, we are just enjoying the spring and summer and sooner we are going to enjoy the cold wind and singing Christmas carol.
ReplyDeleteThe Campfire movie sounds like a great movie. I need to celebrate Christmas in July.
ReplyDeleteChristmas spirit on July love it esp. its 90 degrees from where i am at now. Thinking about Christmas makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy that Christmas is in less than 6 months. I'm not ready yet. But then again I am loathing the 100 degree weather days.
ReplyDeleteReady for the Hallmark movies! Love the wine bottle
